TRUNK SHOW: 1950s Elegance, 1970s Style: Lundström Fall/Winter 2011

A mix of real and faux fur outerwear and evening wear in feminine 50s elegance meets sexy 70s style means the Lundström Fall/Winter 2011 Collection can satisfy any woman, regardless of what side of the PETA fence she stands on. Judging from the enthusiasm in the crowd at LG Fashion Week, the Yorkville-ready, Eastern European, принцесса-inspired pieces will no doubt make their way into the walk-in closets of Toronto’s most glamorous ladies. It’s All Style To Me readers will have a chance to preview and pre-order with a special 15% discount from the FW11 Collection between April 15-17th. Swing by eleven Boutique located at 116 Cumberland St. in Toronto and tell them It’s All Style To Me sent you.
Some of my FW11 Collection favourites include the faux Mongolian lamb vests and coats that kicked off the show at LGFW, tie front llama coat in steel blue, ivory LaPARKA, feathered faux fur vest in chestnut camel, skinny camel leather pants, cranberry mohair tweed bouclé coat, ruby alpaca coat, mohair clipped coat in thistle, snow leopard printed chiffon dress, and the wool lace hourglass coat in black-natural. OK, so I loved almost everything. The FW11 evening wear is also quite stunning. Especially the black iridescent chiffon one shoulder dress. Very sexy. No plans for a dedicated menswear line, but Lundström does make a parka for men. For runway photos of the FW11 collection please visit the It’s All Style To Me Facebook Page.
