SHARP BOOK FOR MEN Spring/Summer 2011 Launch Party

Last night, SHARP Magazine for Men held a launch party for their second biannual publication, The SHARP Book For Men. More like an impeccably catered Italian wedding than a launch party, the event was hosted at Claudio Aprile’s No. 1 ranked, Origin Restaurant. From fresh oysters to grilled filet mignon, food was prepared in an open kitchen and just like the Peroni beer and Lifford wine, it just kept coming at us throughout the entire evening. Throw in a few hot models, the sexy sounds of DJs Marsha and Sandra Kissette, a room full of sharply dressed ladies and gents, and man what a party.
“The opportunity to develop one’s own sense of style is a relatively new phenomenon among Canadian men,” says Yoni Goldstein, editor of SHARP. “The Book for Men celebrates the style renaissance we are witnessing in Canada.” SHARP’s The Book for Men Spring/Summer 2011 is a 210-page guide to the season’s hottest men’s fashion trends as well as a 30-page “MANual” of how-to advice on more than 50 manly MUSTS such as beach etiquette, shoe care, manscaping, and even fractional jet ownership.
I have a subscription to SHARP and own the Fall/Winter 2010 Book For Men. I can tell you that in addition to the It’s All Style To Me fashion blog, it’s an excellent resource to have on hand when trying to pull together a wardrobe for the new season. The Spring/Summer 2011 book also features a series of fashion and lifestyle essays and some great menswear fashion photography shot on location in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Florida’s Bay Hill golf course. The SHARP Book For Men is available online at www.Sharpformen.com and on newsstands and bookstores across Canada. For event photos, please visit the It’s All Style To Me Facebook Page.
